Home Studio Pottery Workshop
£95 per person
Duration: 3 hours

This is a perfect opportunity to learn brand new skills and create something with your own two hands. In a relaxed and homely environment, Rainna will begin your workshop by guiding you through various hand building techniques to make your piece. Throughout the day you can have fun throwing on the pottery wheel. All equipment and materials will be provided to you on the day. Before the end of your workshop, you can choose from a variety of colours to have your creations glazed in. You will leave your unique creations in the studio where they will be dried out and bisque fired in the kiln, then glazed in the colour of your choice. Collection or shipping will be within two months of the make. Overseas shipping is at an extra cost. Refreshments are available throughout the day.

Raku workshop
£105 per person
Duration: 10am to 4pm
Minimum capacity to run the workshop: 3 people
Maximum capacity: 10 people
Come and have a day where you can experience the magical Raku firing process. No previous experience is needed, and everything will be provided for you. On the day, you can choose up to three pieces from a selection of bisque fired pots in varying styles. You will learn different glazing techniques and application, then we will fire up our kiln with your ready glazed pieces and before you know it, you’ll have you own unique and stunning creations to take away on the day!
You will need to wear comfortable shoes and warm, old clothes suitable for working outdoors. Raku firings take place outside so do please dress accordingly.
Please bring your own lunch or we can recommend some places to eat in town. Refreshments are available through out the day.
Disclaimers:
Important: Raku is weather dependent, if conditions are unsuitable (ie high winds or extreme cold) we will not be able to fire up for both safety reasons and the success rate using this firing method! If this happens we will get in contact within 24 hours and transfer to another available date.
Important - please note that due to the nature of this type of firing, we cannot guarantee all pots will survive, occasionally pots may crack or break during firing! There are no refunds for any broken pots.
If you have your own pottery you would like to bring along to fire, please get in contact to check kiln space and availability.
Minimum capacity to run the workshop is 3 people. If we don't have enough people on the day, we will give you alternative workshop dates.
